Welcome!

Welcome to my blog - Shawnte's Chateau!  I am so excited to begin documenting my remodeling, painting, and decorating projects!  Currently, I am working on my own home remodel, painting projects for my son's new apartment, as well as a room update for a local church.  I have taken several interior design  courses during college, but truly my best training has been the hand's on kind!!  My favorite type of adventure is making small spaces feel warm and inviting.  I hope you will find ideas that inspire you to try something new and make your own life happy!  Thanks for stopping by!
